WHAT COLORS TO WEAR
THINK OF JEWEL COLORS
If you have them, choose items that reflect your brand colors or wear
branded clothing items.
Don't have brand colors? No problem, wear what you would normally wear
when meeting clients or heading into the office.
Bright colors are great! Just beware, they can cast that color onto your skin.
If you have a lighter top, go with a lighter color show for a more cohesive look.

Rule #2 - consider avoiding mismatched undertones. This means sticking to warm undertones with warm undertones and cold undertones with cold undertones
Rule #1 - shades don't have to match. Whether it's a light or dark version of
the same color, it all works.

OVERSIZED PIECES
SHOW OFF YOUR SHAPE
Avoid hiding your waistline. Otherwise, you risk getting lost in your outfit.
Instead, make your waistline visible to get perspective and highlight your shape.
ELOGATED LEGS
3 simple TIPS
tip #1
High-waisted, asymmetrical pants are your new best friend.
tip #2
Skip the shoe straps!
tip #3
A side slit dress draws attention to the legs with a vertical line of sight, creating the illusion of a longer leg line
tip #4
Wear a shorter hem line. This naturally shows more of your legs, making them look long.
tip #5
Pointed shoes that are the same color as your pants draw the eye to the furthest point, also giving an elongated appearance. If you're wearing shorts or a short skirt, wear skin colored shoes.
HIDE YOUR WAIST AREA
tip #1
This is an oldie but goodie -
darker colors are more slimming
than lighter colors
tip #2
If you decide to wear stripes,
horizontal will be more slimming
than vertical.
tip #3
Wear a fluffy blouse paired with
tailored pants. This doesn't mean
you have to wear skinny jeans;
you just want to make sure it is
slim through the leg
tip #4
Fitted blazers/jackets are great
for hiding your waistline, along
with those lumps and bumps
tip #5
Wrap dresses are wonderful
for giving you a flattering
shape
tip #6
Don't wear anything around your
belly if you don't want people to
look there! So, bring your belt
either above or below. Same with
any patterns or embelishments.

Shoes
Shoes are pivotal to any outfit. It's easier for my senior girls to focus on accessories but shoes are something which can elevate your look. They're an expression of your personality and can create a finish touch to an entire outfit. Together we will decide which shoes will stand the LOOK on your outfits

INSTHE POWER OF ACCESSORIES
Let's complete the style
A plain sponge cake doesn’t look like much until it’s jazzed up with frosting and toppings. In the same way, fashion accessories give flavor to an ordinary looking outfit and create that WOW factor to your images.
Here are three important factors:
#1: Accessories help style outfits differently
#2: Shows up your personality
#3 Makes your entire outfit stand out

HAIR AND MAKE UP
5 tips from a pro makeup artist
Washing Face
Whether you're having a pro do your makeup or you are doing it yourself, thoroughly wash your face, use a mild scrub and moisturize your skin before starting with makeup. Follow the directions the makeup artist tell you to do as far as skin acre before the appointment.
I highly recommend a HYDRAFACIAL a week before your shoot. Not only does it brighten your face, it vacuums out any blackheads and reduces any acne. When I edit, I like to preserve the skin texture as much as possible and a HYDRAFACIAL would help that process.
TIP: Don't try a new face products you’ve never tried before to avoid
any irritation.
NAILS
For a photo shoot we recommend a clear or neutral nail polish in order to not distract attention from your face. A one colour palette is the safest bet. If you are seeking a splash of colour (a classic red for example), then whatever you do make sure that it compliments your outfits!
MAKE UP
TIP: MASCARA - If not choosing a makeup artist, PLEASE PLEASE buy a brand new mascara just for your session so its not clumpy.
Look for mascara that has a primer and final coat or buy them separate.
Natural
Make up is the best way to go for your session. You still want to look and feel your age!
Don’t go overboard with such a drastic look that you don't feel like yourself.
TIP: Earthy tones help to enhance your natural features during the day and sunset light.
Leave it to the Pro's
Doing makeup ourself: be very mindful and very careful applying your eye make up, your eyes are your main feature and will always be the focus of your photos. Photography washes out make up and gives less depth to your features, you will want to apply makeup a touch heavier than you would normally wear.
Hairstyle
Changing your hairstyle during your shoot adds variety! Think fish-tail braids or a loose bun with one of your outfits!
My belief is that every person should be framed in the moments they’ve felt the most loved and cared for.
